Delete your Licit Note account
You can ask us to close your Licit Note account at any time, from the doctor app or by email. Here’s how, and what happens to your information.
In the doctor app
Open the menu
Sign in to Licit Note and tap the menu (☰) at the top of the screen.
Go to Password & security
Then tap Delete account.
Send the request
Add a reason if you like, confirm, and tap Request account deletion.
By email
Email support@licitnote.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. Include your full name and, if you’re a doctor, your HPCSA number, so we can find your account.
What happens next
We confirm the request with you by email before closing your account. You can keep using Licit Note until then.
Once your account is closed, you can’t sign in, and we remove personal information that isn’t part of an issued note or its record, such as your profile photo, phone numbers, and practice details.
What we keep
Notes you issued are part of patients’ medical records. They, and the record of who issued, reissued, or revoked them and when, are kept so they stay verifiable. They still show your name as the doctor who issued them.

To close a reception account, ask your clinic administrator, or email support@licitnote.com.
